I cannot believe that I am the proud mother of a little girl who is doing so great in Kindergarten. She is nearly reading sentences with a little help, and counting to 100, and sounding out words, and her handwriting is improving day by day. One of my favorite parts of our day is the time when we sit down together at the table and do her weekly homework assignment. This lets me in on what she is thinking and doing and learning and I get to participate! This last assignment, I had to take some pictures because she had her list of sightwords and she was reading them right down the list! She knows about 30 sight words at this point and she is only 5. I am so proud of my Kindergartner and amazed at how much she is learning everyday and how much she loves it! Keep it up Halle!
